Roles & Responsibilities:

_{The job holder will be primarly responsible for the Server the UNIX domain. In depth knowledge of concepts and hands on experience RHEL 6.7.8 Red hat Linux , making architectural designs and improvements server infrastructure and its supporting subsystems.. Technical responsibilities include solving complex technical issues, provisioning new services, implementation, monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance related to Red hat Linux and Centos.}

_{Qualifications and Education:}

_{The jobholder should have bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent professional qualification in related engineering discipline with at least 8 years of total experience in similar fields}

_Experience:

_{Around 10 + years of IT experience and majority of it in the UNIX domain. In depth knowledge of concepts and hands on experience RHEL 7.8 Linux platforms.}

_{Virtualization Certifications}

_{Redhat Certified system Engineer}

• _{Excellent analytical and design skills at multi-product/multi-environment level.}
• _{Excellent technical knowledge in RHEL server build, RHEL cluster, YUM. Satellite/capsule server deployment, upgrades}
• _{Excellent knowledge of manging Unix domain hands in RHEL at least worked on large enterprise setup manging 500 plus servers on production support.}
• _{Advanced knowledge troubleshooting of Redhat Linux 6,7,8 , physical sever lun mapping, HA, , cluster management, disaster recovery tools ,firmware, Linux shell scripting etc.}
• _{Hands knowledge of deployment of ansible and automated various services, Strong knowledge of python}
• _{General knowledge of back-ups, storage, auth/ directory services, networking, load balancing, SMTP/Mail Relays, , DNS, server security, patching, web servers and IT Systems Operations & Maintenance.}
• _{Strong knowledge for server hardening both Redhat 7 and 8.}

• _{The jobholder will meet and work with all sections and departments with external stake holders. He will be reporting to Team Leader daily basis on issues, business/operational needs and incident management.}
• _{The job holder will work in standard office hours and should be available on a 24X7X365 basis, to intervene in emergencies or when situation demands. The job holder will work in a controlled environment.}
